Being raised in Pennsylvania and having a mother and dad that loved the outdoors, gave me the chance to spend time outdoors and to enjoy at a young age the sport of hunting and fishing. My dad was raised in the heart of the Allegany Mountains and was a country boy. My mom was raised in the city and was a city girl until she met my dad!

I moved out west in 1976 and fell in love a second time ... in a different way! I am blessed with a great wife, kids and grand kids, which all love the outdoors and hunting and fishing. The best joy that has been given to me is the chance to spend time and take people into the outdoors to hunt and fish. Watching the smile on a 4 year old catch their first fish or a 12-year-old shoot his or her first deer or elk is a cherished reward for me.

Spending over 40 years of my life hunting and fishing and the past 20 years doing seminars on game calling and hunting (and running video cameras) has led me to produce a TV show were the kids are the stars KidOutdoors. I hope God will continue to give me the ability to meet and take people into the outdoors. From Kid Outdoors ... God bless, good hunting and fishing Ed Sweet

"Spend time with a kid in the outdoors ... you'll build a memory bank that will last a lifetime."

"Ed Sweet is a fun guy," says 13 year-old Laura Malaise of Meridian, ID, who drew a coveted Mountain Goat Permit. She brought home a great trophy. Ed got it on tape and the rest is history!
