I was raised in Pennsylvania and having a mother and dad that loved the outdoors,
gave me the chance to spend time outdoors and to enjoy at a young age the
sport of hunting and fishing. My dad was raised in the heart of the Alleghany
Mountains and was a country boy. My mom was raised in the city and was a city
girl until she met my dad!
I moved out west in 1976 and fell in love a second time ... in a different
way! I am blessed with a great wife, kids and grand kids, which all love the
outdoors and hunting and fishing. The best joy that has been given to me is
the chance to spend time and take people into the outdoors to hunt and fish.
Watching the smile on a 4 year old catch their first fish or a 12-year-old
shoot his or her first deer or elk is a cherished reward for me.
Spending over 40 years of my life hunting and fishing and
the past 20 years doing seminars on game calling and hunting (and running video
cameras) has led me to produce a TV show were the kids are the stars. I hope
God will continue to give me the ability to meet and take people into the outdoors.
Gary Kirkpatrick
( Director/Communications/Editor/Camera )

Gary Kirkpatrick has been spending most of his spare time in the outdoors
for over 40 years. His love of the outdoors was instilled from an early age
by many trips a field with his father. He grew up in Pennsylvania pursuing
whitetail deer, turkey, rabbits and grouse in the fall. His summers were spent
fishing lake Erie and the many creeks.
At the age of 13 he fell out of a tree and crushed two vertebrae in his back.
He was paralyzed from the waist down for several weeks. That did not slow
down his desire to pursue what he loved the most, the great outdoors. After
35 years he can still do what he loves, however he does have a little hitch
in his "git" a long.
Although he does not hunt big game as much any more, he still
loves to bird hunt and
train pointing dogs. He has been running a video camera off and on for almost
20 years.
He says that he enjoys filming today's youth as much as he did the thrill of
his own
experiences. He still prefers to be out there filming as opposed to sitting
in the office editing the miles of tape.

for you. Now dad ,Ed Sweet, scouts for all the Kid Outdoors kids and Brian has
to find his own game. Brian has been actively involved in leading youth camps
and activities for the past 10 years. He also currently coaches and sponsors
